TONNER OZ CENTERPIECE - 4 dolls - special resin stand

Click to EnlargeTonner Wizard of Oz Collection - "Tonner Oz Centerpiece" - includes special resin designer Yellow Brick Road display stand - 4 WOZ dolls

In 2005 Robert Tonner introduced his highly collectible and much sought after Wizard of Oz doll collection. He wowed collectors with the first of many pieces to come at a dinner with this whimsical centerpiece. It included 17 inch "Cowardly Lion," "Scarecrow" and "Tin Man." They were all standing securely on a special resin display stand that depicts a yellow brick road with greenery and bright red poppies. The resin structure has 4 holes that accommodate the poles of 4 Tonner doll stands.  The set (3 dolls, stand) were packaged in their own individual boxes and then packaged in one large Tonner box marked Tonner Oz Centerpiece.  We are also selling the 2005 Dorothy (shown in photo) that comes in separate box and includes Toto and wicker basket.  All dolls were then shown at Toy Fair the beginning of the following year and included in that year's main collection.  These dolls were the actual Centerpiece; carefully repackaged at the table that night, shipped back to the store and finally reopened to photograph the base.  Displayed that one and only time.
