Edith the Lonely Doll was created by photographer Dare Wright and first published in 1957. It is a series about a doll and her bear companions. "Edith and the Duckling" features a blonde Edith wearing a yellow and white check dress, a plush duckling and a plush Teddy Bear. Her handtag is a photo of the story's bookcover.
