MADAME ALEXANDER 10" CINDERELLA - (circa 1800's)

Also known as 'The Little Glass Slipper,' Cinderella's story was written by French author Charles Perrault in 1697 and gained a worldwide audience when the Brothers Grimm published the story as 'Cinderella' in a book of collected fairytales in the 1800's.

Madame Alexander's new "Cinderella" reflects the 1860's French fashion style from the era in which the Brothers Grimm published her story. "Cinderella" features a 10 inch, fully-articulated vinyl Cissette with 10 points of articulation. Her lovely blond, curly wig is styled in an upswept do and accented with a strand of pearls. Her evening gown has a full gathered skirt, pointed waistline, short lace trimmed peplum and a lace trimmed Bertha collar. Slippers, a cameo pearl necklace and white satin high heels complete her ensemble. NRFB.
