Standing approximately 16" tall, Dorothy will be fully jointed and made entirely of the finest all-wool felt incorporating a realistic sculptural body and limbs and a compelling portrait face with delicate hand painted features. Her lovely hands will have individual fingers and she will have a meticulously hand-knotted wig made of the finest mohair. Oz's beloved heroine will be dressed in the trademark costume consisting of a white cotton blouse with rickrack trim, period undergarments, and a pinafore dress tailored of custom-made blue checkered fabric. On her feet, she will wear custom-made anklets and hand cobbled Ruby slippers - covered in tiny sequins with rhinestones and faceted crystals! On one arm, Dorothy will carry a custom made replica of the actual basket in the film. No effort will be spared to make this the most authentic version of this beloved character ever produced. She was produced as a Limited Edition of only 350 pieces. Dorothy will come enclosed in a deluxe presentation box gilt-embellished with the Wizard of Oz logo. Included will be the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration. Matching numbers will be provided to subsequent characters in the series.
