"Citizen of Oz" - Madame Alexander's Wicked Series
"Citizen of Oz" is resplendent in a burgundy outfit with an Edwardian era flavor. "Citizen of Oz" features a fully-articulated brown-eyed, 10 inch Cissette Doll, with side-parted brunette hair that's crimped on the sides and pulled back into a bun. Curly tendrils at the temples add flair to this "period" hair-do, which is worn beneath an opulent, wide-brimmed hat of burgundy felt. The hat's brim has been pulled back and tacked to the crown, and is decorated with loops of black satin, rust-colored velvet ribbon, and burgundy tassels. She's wearing a brown-and-burgundy brocade suit. The jacket has a peplum and stand-up collar, both edged in the same red fur trim that embellishes the edges of the peplum, the skirt, and the raglan sleeves. The sleeves are enhanced by the addition of orange organza ribbon ruffles, which compliment the red soutache trim that is placed in horizontal lines on the jacket. Gold bead 'buttons' run down the entire length of the jacket and continue down the straight, ankle-length skirt, which wraps around the body and meets at the thigh to create an opening to expose a pleated, olive-green lace underskirt. Red fingerless gloves, a red felt-and-fur muff, metallic glissenette tights, and thigh-high brown boots.
